EyeQ Optometrists are committed to providing you with the very best in eyecare services and technology. With this as our focus we have recently invested in state of the art Ocular Coherence Tomographers ( OCT’s) at all of our stores.
Partnering with world leader Topcon we have introduced the latest in multimodal imaging technology through their renowned Maestro OCT instruments.
This advanced technology allows the Optometrists to not only view the back of your eyes in digital detail but, but it also provides a detailed scan through the layers of your retina’s so we can view the health and condition of the deeper layers of your retina’s – not previously accessible through regular technology.
It’s a little like an ultrasound for the eyes except it uses light coherence instead of sound and allows us to view parts of the eye we couldn’t previously view. Many conditions such as retinal pathologies, glaucoma’s and macular degenerative changes originate in the deeper layers of the eye and now thanks to the introduction of this leading technology we are able to offer an even better diagnosis and prognosis of your eye health than ever before.
With comparative – normative data bases constantly being updated we are also able to use statistical analyses of the images we take to evaluate things like risk factors, progression levels and outcomes for a vast range of conditions that these modern state of the art pieces of equipment are able to capture and analyse.
With this latest addition to EyeQ’s array of diagnostic and examination equipment we have designed a bespoke in-store ocular testing experience that draws on industry leading ocular imaging and examination processes ensuring we provide optimum outcomes for both your eye health and your vision needs.
Visit an EyeQ store today for a world class eyecare experience. When it comes to your eyes and your vision we don’t settle for second best.
